Analysis Software

Comprehensive image quality assessment tools for photon-counting detector CT. Standardized, reproducible, and scalable evaluation across every energy bin.

What's Included.

QAF's software suite covers the full spectrum of image quality metrics used in photon-counting CT research. Each analysis module supports multi-energy bin data, interactive ROI selection, publication-quality plots, and Excel export — all from your browser.

Workflow.

Upload DICOM images, select energy bins, draw regions of interest, and run your analysis. Results are saved to study sessions so you can compare across scans and export complete datasets for publication.

Analysis Modules.

Core image quality metrics for spectral CT

Spectral Linearity
Evaluate linear response of materials across energy bins and concentrations in both HU and cm⁻¹ scales.
Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)
Quantify signal strength relative to noise for any ROI across all energy bins with automated statistics.
Noise Power Spectrum (NPS)
1D radial, 2D planar, and 3D volumetric noise characterization with interactive heatmaps and surface plots.
Modulation Transfer Function (MTF)
Spatial resolution analysis via PSF or LSF approach. Reports FWHM, MTF at 10% and 50% thresholds.
Material Decomposition
Separate multi-energy images into material-specific basis images using NNLS or direct decomposition methods.
Material Identification & Quantification
Identify and quantify materials with diagnostic metrics — accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.

Key Features

Every module is built for research-grade reproducibility

Study Management
Organize results into named studies. Switch between studies, compare results, and export full datasets.
Multi-Energy Support
Native support for spectral CT data with multiple energy bins. Analyze and compare across all bins simultaneously.
Export & Reporting
Export results as Excel spreadsheets with plots. Generate publication-ready figures directly from the platform.
